The big, comprehensive solution that collects all the data from the production process is of little use if the organization doesn't know what to do with the data. Or the digital highly automated sales channel using AI and a ChatBot, if the subsequent internal process steps run analog and thus slowly.
The organization, the people must be taken along on the transformation journey (see also #7). So it's better to start with small steps first, warm up and learn. For example, the increase in efficiency gained through electronic travel expense reporting creates the necessary scope for the next steps in the transformation.
